Food Pantry: Families who qualify for help from Open
Doors may come in once every thirty days. Our pantry receives
food from local Churches, Businesses, Boy Scouts, Post Office
Letter Carrier Union and school food drives. Personal hygiene
products and cleaning supplies are also given because these
items cannot be bought with food stamps. In 2010 approximately
45,000 lbs. of food was given out. We are now serving an average
of 76 families per month.

Clothing:
The community has been generous in donating used clothing. Our
volunteers sort through the clothing to make sure the clothes
are seasonal, clean and in good condition. Extra clothes are
given to various mission projects. Over 5100 articles of clothing
were given out in 2010.

Books
For Kids: Clients of Open Doors are unable to provide
their children with the luxury of books. We collect gently used
books and the children may select books at Open Doors, at the
Back to School Day give away or at the Thanksgiving pick-up.
Collection sites are at the Westfield library, Open Doors and
various churches.
